Ever wanted to create your own comic strip but didn’t know where to start?
This beginner’s workshop will show you how. Cartoonist Jaime will guide you each step of the way as you create a character, set the scene and develop your own one page story.
Jaime Huxtable is a cartoonist and illustrator based in Worthing, West Sussex. He has illustrated comics on many subjects, ranging from Winston Churchill to the discovery of the iguanodon.
He recently worked on the George Orwell adaptation Such, Such Were the Joys: A Graphic Novel with writer Sean Michael Wilson, which was published last year by Pluto Press and supported through Arts Council England. His other work includes G Bear and Jammo, Makers of Monsters (with writer Mark Pembrey) and the supernatural crime series DROWSE (with writers Frank Verano and Nick Klinger).
